Through the Orientation program we encourage students to learn and understand the expectations and offerings of the Catholic University community. We hope that you and your student will talk about expectations, responsibility, transitional fears, and exciting opportunities, both before and during orientation and throughout their time at Catholic University. In this light we have designed a family orientation program that moves in conjunction with the student orientation program. There are 2 ways to access the full schedule of events:
- Download the Catholic University App from any smartphone app store and once installed and open find the Orientation 2020 guide to download.
- Visit the web version of the guide which doesn't allow you to use the personalization features that the app allows you to do but still gets you the same information.
As you'll see in the guide itself the vast majority of sessions are done through Zoom but there are no Zoom links in the schedule. This is to ensure that we maintain the privacy and safety of our students and family. As a registered family member of the Family Nest you will be able to find all of the Zoom links listed here on this page below once they become available. You'll also be able to find links to all of the recorded sessions after they've occurred and available to view. If you have other family members who will need to attend sessions who are not registered members of the Family Nest, please have them signup for an account or contact cua-families@cua.edu to gain access. As long as they signup for an account and list that their student was "Admitted for Fall 2020" they'll get access to this post immediately.
