Welcome to the Class of 2027 at The Catholic University of America! This is a very exciting time for you and your family. The next couple of months will go by very quickly, and there is much that you, your family, and CatholicU will do to prepare for your arrival.
As you continue your spring and summer planning, we want to let you know that the Office of Campus Activities is here to help you through your transition to CatholicU. As the Director of Campus Activities, I have the privilege of getting to oversee our orientation program.
Your on-campus journey at CatholicU is currently scheduled to begin on Thursday, August 24, with Orientation. The program is designed for first-year students, transfer students, and their families. Family sessions will conclude on the evening of Friday, August 25. We encourage you to download the CatholicU App available on iTunes and Google Play. In July, a full schedule for Orientation 2023 will be available in the app.
In addition to the on-site resources that we will provide you in August, between now and the start of Orientation you will receive a series of emails. These emails will include detailed information about your journey at Catholic and the next steps you and your family will need to complete prior to your arrival.
Finally, this summer you will be asked to complete our
immersive online orientation program called "Becoming A Cardinal." This program will mark the beginning of your transition to Catholic and provide you the opportunity to learn about all of the great resources we have to offer and give you a glimpse of your life as a CatholicU student.
